Sanitation Practices for Aquaculture Facilities

Fish culture facilities should rely on a disease prevention program which includes: water quality management, nutrition, quarantine of new animals, and sanitation. Sanitation practices should include disinfection between groups of fish, cleanliness while fish are growing, and prevention of disease transmission by equipment, personnel or water.
